- The FoldSat and Sailsat terminals and the SGoSat uPro antenna are some of the proposals shown by Inster, the brand of Grupo Oesía specialized in satellite communications.
Madrid, March 12, 2025. – Inster-Grupo Oesía exhibits its satellite mobility solutions for military and civilian applications at SATELLITE, the most important international fair of the sector.
From March 11 to 13, at the Washington Convention Center, the FoldSat terminal, the first foldable, NATO-qualified user terminal marketed to operate with Eutelsat OneWeb’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation of satellites, with new jamming resistance capabilities, will be on display, among other innovations. This terminal has just passed anti-jamming protection tests, enabling it to withstand and function properly in contested environments and against jamming attempts.
During these days, the SailSat terminal for LEO/GEO constellations, which ensures broadband satellite communications with offshore connectivity outside the coverage radius of radio control systems, will also be presented.
In addition, Inster is developing secure satellite communications technology , which incorporates electronic antennas and 5G-NTN modem, and will be available in the future IRIS2 constellation .
The multinational is also exhibiting the SGoSat uPro lightweight dual-purpose antenna with additive manufacturing technology, designed to be integrated into light and ground aerial vehicles (both manned and unmanned), and solutions based on electronic antennas for helicopters, fighters and UAVs.
Grupo Oesía also shows its technology in on-board electronics and security solutions for the space sector. Its offer of electronic equipment and on-board processors for space applications, as well as customized electronic solutions for all market segments. It also presents its capabilities in secure connectivity and advanced cybersecurity with quantum and post-quantum technologies, photonic systems that optimize functional performance and improve SWaP(Size, Weight and Power) and technologies for monitoring and control of the space environment.
In the words of Miguel Díaz, CEO of Inster-Grupo Oesía, “SATELLITE is a strategic place to show to the international market the evolution and strength of Grupo Oesía in the satellite communications sector and our firm commitment to innovation.
