“2023 has been a great year in all senses for Grupo Oesía. I feel very proud professionally and personally of all the achievements, improvements and challenges undertaken. Specifically, in terms of ESG we continue marking our own path that brings us closer to our purpose, “to make possible a better, more efficient, safe and sustainable world”. All this allows us to consolidate our position as a reference in the high technology industry in Spain and internationally, says Luis Furnells, executive president of Grupo Oesía.

The report highlights the development of the technology multinational’s ESG Master Plan 2024-2026, which outlines a comprehensive strategy for integrating environmental, social and governance best practices throughout its value chain.

The ESG Master Plan 2024-2026 defines the technology company’s roadmap with three ESG focuses. Its main objective is to meet and anticipate the complex and growing requirements of stakeholders and regulators, establishing a framework that integrates sustainability throughout the value chain. It also seeks to generate opportunities that contribute to the fulfillment of the company’s business plan, developing sustainable products and services that add value to its customers.

Among the milestones for 2023 is the reduction of the company’s carbon footprint for the fifth consecutive year, verified and registered with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.

The Report also reaffirms the Group’s commitment to young talent and the promotion of STEM vocations. In this regard, we highlight the launch of a program aimed at strengthening the company’s highly qualified technological talent. With this initiative, Grupo Oesía also reinforces its strategy based on hyper-specialization.

Finally, 330 young people participated in the company’s programs aimed at promoting the talent of those starting their professional careers through training scholarships.
