Oesía Group participated in the V Symposium of the Healthcare Observatory.


On Wednesday, October 4th, Grupo Oesía took part in the V Symposium of the Healthcare Observatory, organized by El Español and Invertia in the facilities of the University Camilo José Cela (Madrid).

Nathalie Ortigoza, Cybersecurity Manager at Cipherbit-Grupo Oesía, participated, together with Laura Prats (head of cyber risk management at Relyens in Spain), at the table aimed at addressing the cybersecurity risks generated by the increasing digitalization of the healthcare sector.

In his speech, Ortigoza explained that cyber-attacks are going to increase: “in the healthcare field, attacks are constant. Hospitals, clinics and health services are attacked because they are totally vulnerable”. He also stressed the importance of implementing a culture of cybersecurity in the sector and promoting a change of mentality, since not everything depends on investment in resources, it is also necessary to devote efforts to staff training.

Manuel Gallardo, director of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence of Grupo Oesía, participated in the round table aimed at analyzing the potential of Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare field, together with Javier Ochoa, Technology associate director of Accenture Iberia; Albert Triola, CEO of Oracle in Spain; Ángel Blanco, director of Systems and Digital Transformation of Quirónsalud and Gabriel López, Government Affairs director of Microsoft.

In his speech, Gallardo remarked that the development offers great opportunities to the sector, making it clear that there is still a long way to go and challenges to face, referring especially to the legal implications of implementing this technology.



Family of SATCOM On The Move (SOTM) terminals for vehicular installation and stable mobile connection
