The company showcases its leading technology in avionics systems, high-performance electro-optical sensors, Data Link tactical communications systems, personal encrypters with SCIP protocol, and Combat Simulators.

Abu Dhabi February 22, 2021.- Tecnobit – Grupo Oesía has used its participation at IDEX 2021 International Fair to announce its first contract to develop a state-of-the-art Artillery Simulator for the United Arab Emirates. The fair is being held in Abu Dhabi until February 25th, giving the Spanish company the chance to showcase its latest advances in the fields of Visionics (displays and IRST), Tactical and Secure Communications, Advanced Onboard Electronic Systems, and Optronics, all of which are products for which it is renowned around the world.

Tecnobit – Grupo Oesía is present alongside its local partner (Al Badie Group) at a shared stand, (CP-220) in the UAE pavilion, part of the Spanish representation at the fair that is being coordinated by TEDAE.

Tecnobit – Grupo Oesía´s technology in the field of Simulation is well renowned, thanks to the long-standing involvement in the Spanish Field Artillery Simulator (SIMACA) as well as the Brazilian SIMAF the largest military simulator in Latin America. With this new Simulator, known as SIMTAR, Tecnobit will provide the United Arab Emirates’ Armed Forces with hitherto unavailable capability, thanks to the new virtual technology simulator, designed to train an artillery battalion and prepare them to join the manoeuvre unit and reach brigade level. It also provides precise technical and tactical training on artillery doctrine procedures, allowing instruction on mission planning, ground reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition, preparing and executing the firing mission, and evaluating the damage inflicted.

Artificial Intelligence

The system accurately simulates the environmental conditions and characteristics of all entities present on the virtual battlefield, using advanced artificial intelligence to autonomously emulate their behaviour in the simulation exercise, as if they were real units. The simulator also provides training for the JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller), emulating CAS (Close Air Support) actions with the assistance of an aircraft directed from a pilot’s post.

At IDEX 2021, Tecnobit is showcasing a range of its most innovative products at IDEX, such as its Smart Displays for 8×8 vehicles (two sizes), Aeronautical Displays, Optronic system (Leda, Castor and Odin), and the Cifpecom encrypter, ready for demonstrations at the company’s stand.

Tecnobit is an international benchmark company in terms of Security, Defence and Aerospace technology, maintaining its position of leadership in the complete product development cycle, from conception and design through to end-of-life, including developing, manufacturing, certification and maintaining: avionics equipment and systems, high-performance electro-optical sensors, Data Link tactical communications systems, and encrypters, among others. The company’s client portfolio includes, most notably, the Spanish Ministry of Defence, Airbus, Saab, Lockheed-Martin, Meggit Avionics, Navantia, Indra, General Dynamics Land-Systems and the NATO Procurement Agency.

SGoSat

Family of SATCOM On The Move (SOTM) terminals for vehicular installation and stable mobile connection

SGoSat is a family of high-tech SOTM (Satellite Comms On The Move) terminals that are installed in a vehicle, providing the ability to target and maintain a stable connection to the satellite when the vehicle is in motion in any type of conditions.

The SGoSat family is composed of versatile terminals, which can be installed on any type of platform: trains and buses, military and/or government vehicles, aircraft, ships, etc. Originally designed for the military sector, SGoSat terminals are extremely reliable and robust, integrating high-performance components that comply with the most stringent environmental and EMI/EMC regulations. The product uses low-profile, high-efficiency antennas and a high-performance positioning and tracking unit, allowing the terminal to be operated anywhere in the world.

In order to meet the diverse needs of its customers, INSTER has developed single band and dual band terminals in X, Ka and Ku frequencies.

The SGoSat family of terminals can also be configured with a wide range of radomes (including ballistic options) to suit customer requirements.
