The joint venture formed by Grupo Oesía and Inetum wins the contract to provide services to the technological platform of the Port of Barcelona.

The Port Authority of Barcelona awards to the joint venture formed by Grupo Oesía and Inetum the contract for the “Programming of Business and Corporate Applications in the SOSTRAT-DOCKS Environment”.

The agreement involves maintaining the SOSTRAT platform of the Port Authority of Barcelona.This is the technological core for the business management of the Port of the city, being an information system that enables the supervision and optimization of all aspects of the port business. This system is a set of applications developed in Java and .Net technologies.

Grupo Oesía, a Spanish multinational company dedicated to technological and digital engineering, has participated in the bidding for this project in a 50/50 joint venture with Inetum. This strategic alliance provides the company, with extensive experience in the design, development, manufacture and maintenance of cutting-edge technological solutions and products, with a solid foundation to offer a quality service, in line with its commitment to excellence.

The total value of the contract assigned to the joint venture, excluding VAT, is 2,893,536 euros. Initially, it has a duration of two years, although there is the possibility of an extension for an additional two years. The service will consist of 19 highly qualified professionals, with extensive technical experience and a deep knowledge of the port business.

SGoSat is a family of high-tech SOTM (Satellite Comms On The Move) terminals that are installed in a vehicle, providing the ability to target and maintain a stable connection to the satellite when the vehicle is in motion in any type of conditions.

The SGoSat family is composed of versatile terminals, which can be installed on any type of platform: trains and buses, military and/or government vehicles, aircraft, ships, etc. Originally designed for the military sector, SGoSat terminals are extremely reliable and robust, integrating high-performance components that comply with the most stringent environmental and EMI/EMC regulations. The product uses low-profile, high-efficiency antennas and a high-performance positioning and tracking unit, allowing the terminal to be operated anywhere in the world.

In order to meet the diverse needs of its customers, INSTER has developed single band and dual band terminals in X, Ka and Ku frequencies.

The SGoSat family of terminals can also be configured with a wide range of radomes (including ballistic options) to suit customer requirements.
