Situation

Orange is one of the leading mobile telecommunications operators in the Spanish and international market, serving millions of private and corporate customers.

Tasks

Grupo Oesía collaborates with Orange providing homologation services in different fields (mobile and fixed), among which mobile devices, applications or SIM cards are worth mentioning. It also collaborates in projects related to the incorporation of new functionalities in the operator's mobile devices.

Action

Technical acceptance services for mobile, fixed and TV devices, ensuring their correct operation prior to their commercialization to customers. Tests included interface, usability, field, performance and application integration tests on the device.

Tests have been performed on different operating systems, as well as static voice and data tests (call center and cell Edge) and dynamic tests based on GCF. The latter include Intra Frequency Handover, Inter Frequency Handover, Inter Band HandoverE-UTRA Handover, intra eNodeB Handover, E-UTRA-E-UTRA Inter-frequency or Inter-Band.

We have also provided end-to-end certification services for mobile applications, ranging from their creation to their certification and validation.

Likewise, SIM and eSIM card validation services have been provided, which include the definition of specifications and joint requirements with the Operator, the identification and development of validation tests, the joint management of priorities, support for services already approved and support for remote management platforms.
